Ashley Schiavone, Esquire Ms. Schiavone is a graduate of Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, Macon.  During her first summer in law school, Ms. Schiavone studied International Law in London for six weeks as part of a summer abroad program.  In the following summer, Ms. Schiavone was a clerk for the Honorable Judge William T. Moore Jr., Chief Judge of the United States District Court (federal) Southern District of Georgia.  Ms. Schiavone is also a member of Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL).

Prior to law school, Ms. Schiavone graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Minor in Communications.  With a G.P.A. of 3.8, she graduated magna cum laude from Florida State and as a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.  During her four years at Florida State University, Ms. Schiavone was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, a community service fraternity that sponsored a number of volunteer projects each month throughout the Tallahassee community.

Ms. Schiavone is the daughter of Michael Schiavone, the well-known and respected criminal defense attorney at Jackson & Schiavone in Savannah, Georgia.  Having grown up with a prominent criminal defense attorney as her father, Ms. Schiavone has been immersed in criminal law for most of her life.  Before entering law school, Ms. Schiavone gained experience in both criminal and civil law as a secretary and office assistant for several different law firms in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia.  She not only worked with her father at his criminal defense firm, Jackson & Schiavone, but also worked as an office assistant at Savage, Turner, Pinson & Karsman and at Herndon & Costner, P.C. , both of which practice civil law in Savannah, Georgia. 

In Fall of 2008, Ms. Schiavone joined Head, Thomas, Webb & Willis, LLC as an Associate in the law firm.  She is handling DUI cases, other motor vehicle crimes (traffic tickets for speeding, reckless driving, hit & run, aggressive driving), plus handling administrative license suspension issues and a limited number of civil and domestic (family law) matters at Head, Thomas, Webb & Willis.
