Gregory A. Willis, Esquire

Gregory Willis received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia in 1992 and his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1996.

His areas of legal specialty are Driving While Intoxicated (DUI), traffic violations, criminal law, and parole and probation violations.

He is a well known speaker at conferences on administrative driver's license suspensions and revocations and analyzing Georgia DUI cases for trial. He is a member of the Defense of Drinking Drivers Network, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

His courage in the face of battle was demonstrated in 2003 when he refused to be forced into a jury trial where his only witness (an expert from Tennessee) had been delayed in another court and would be a day late getting to Georgia. Rather than allow the trial to go forward, and lose, when faced with the option of going to jail or starting trial, Greg opted to go to jail for contempt of court and served a 4 day sentence. He later got out of jail and won his client's case when the witness was available.
